Hi, I will be submitting artwork that has already been created. I've attached photos of two completed pieces for reference, but will only be submitting one. To create these pieces, I combine thrifted materials (usually glass or porcelain), which I then fragment and apply to the outer layer, along with other mixed media. My intent is to satirize the idea of "quality" by reimagining classical Greek & Roman busts using cheap and ordinary materials found in thrift stores.
