A mixed media portrait/ collage made with upcycled thrifted vintage sheet music.
For this exhibit I envision a flat portrait of Macklemore painted on sheetmusic adhered to a thrifted painting. 3-D strips of sheet music would be layers, torn, twisted and curled to create his signature thrift shop fur coat look.
I envision a piece that would signify the profound impact that music plays in influencing society in both fashion and sustainability.
