GILBERT ACADEMY

Gilbert Academy of Creative Arts partnered with Robin Slonina to transform a campus utility enclosure into a colorful public artwork celebrating creativity, movement, and self-expression. Students posed as models for the mural’s energetic silhouette figures, making the artwork a direct reflection of the school community.

The project also included hands-on participation from students, who assisted in painting portions of the mural alongside Robin. By combining professional mural design with student involvement, the project turned an overlooked piece of infrastructure into a vibrant landmark that fosters creativity, ownership, and school pride.
